COAL HOLLOW dvd

 

We created a short DVD about Coal Hollow in order to be able to share the story on the web and radio in addition to print media and as adjunct material for teaching or exhibitions.

The video has a selection of stills from the book, audio excerpts from interviews recorded in the field and interviews with both Ken and Melanie Light.

The Coal Hollow DVD was produced and created by David Snider. He is the founder of
The Photography Channel. He is leading the Convergence Initiative to create new forms of PhotoMotion content for broadcast television and the Internet.

Snider earned a BFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, and evolved from shooting documentary photo essays to becoming a television producer and editor, eventually creating several programs for ABC News Nightline, and supplying stories to World News Tonight, ABC News Now and NBC News.

David Snider lives in Maryland with his girlfriend Denise and their daughter Violet.
